Grandma Allison came out for a visit this last weekend. We had a great time showing her the sites. Drinks at Beatrice and Woodsley's, delicious dinner at Spicy Basil, the Denver Art Museum, and of course plenty of time hanging with the little mister himself.

the democratic nat'l convention. i am really glad it's over. it seemed like all of denver was on edge and swirling around me in such a way that i wanted to suck it all in, and then spit it all out. the paranoia was astounding. more later. i need to go soak my head.

sweater weather.

I've been telling Lucien all about rain, and what we like to call sweater weather. He kind of digs it. As long as the sweater allows for him to still try to eat his hand, all is right in the world.
